Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started working professionally in the teen years at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show included The Snow Queen. As part of the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods, she won an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. In 2002, she played the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway aged 15 and received the Drama League Award nomination. Molly also performed in Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Following her graduation from Princeton University, where she received an B.A. with a major in religion and was a Triangle Club member, Molly attended Princeton University. She graduated in 2008 with the degree of B.A. In that time, she made her debut as Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly started her acting career following graduating with Off-Broadway performances, including End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly has starred in several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008 at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008 and Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she portrayed Anne. Molly is best known for her part in the film Paranormal Activity 2 in which she portrays a teenaged daughter Ali and also in the ABC comedy written by Jack Burditt and featuring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
