Nancy Kovack played Medea the epic film of action and fantasy Jason and the Argonauts. Her role was memorable for males in my age group. The time she was on screen in the production is lower than we remember however her routine dance remains a huge success. To add to that, there are reports that Nancy's voice was dubbed over by Honor Blackman (who is set to become Bondgirl), perhaps to give her a more sophisticated British accent. Nancy Kovack has always been recognizable, especially in the time-based dramas that talk about Shakespeare. She didn't seem to struggle to get along with Tarzan, Batman, the Three Stooges, Vincent Price, Dean Martin, Captain Kirk or Elvis Presley, all great cultural icons, as I'm sure you'll appreciate. Nancy Kovack was a very interesting woman. Her characters' solid determination? Her stunning body? There's a reason why Nancy confessed in never wanting to be a major film star. She preferred supporting parts. Yet, her 15-year career was full of surprising moments.
